The Pittsburgh Penguins were routed by the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 last night at PPG Paints Arena.
Drew O’Connor scored the only goal for the Pens, which gave them an early lead, but Carolina’s Jackson Blake scored at the 13:24 mark of the first, Martin Necas put one in in the 2nd at the 6:52 mark, and Shayne Gotisbehere scored the third at 17:13 of the 3rd. Joel Blomqvist made 35 saves for the Pens.
The Pens will head west to play the Winipeg Jets tomorrow at 3:00. You can hear the game starting at 2:00 with the pre-game show on U-92.5 FM.
