Elle Smith’s shot hit the crossbar and caromed into the net for a goal two minutes into the second half, and Avery Clanton later deflected a shot off a defender to give IUP a 2-0 win over Clarion.
Hannah Scardina had two assists and four shots, two of them on goal. Clanton put three shots on goal. Makenna Yarrow made five saves to get the shutout for the 23rd-ranked Crimson Hawks.
