The Pirates’ Jared Triolo is a finalist for the National League Rawlings Gold Glove award at the utility position. He is competing against the Cardinals’ Brendan Donovan and the Dodgers’ Kike Hernandez.
Triolo committed just three errors in over a thousand innings played, with six defensive runs saved. He played 61 games at third base, 47 at second, and nine each at first base and shortstop. There were four starts at first and eight starts at short. The Gold Glove winners will be announced November 3rd.
