State System of Higher Education Chancellor Dan Greenstein wraps up his duties this week before moving on to the private sector. His last official work with the State System will be the meetings Wednesday and Thursday of the Board of Governors.
At that meeting, the Board is expected to approve the appointment of Dr. Chris Fiorentino to be interim chancellor. He’s just retired as the president of West Chester University, the largest school of the state-owned universities. Fiorentino has said he will not seek the full-time position. The State System will conduct a nationwide search for its next chancellor.
Greenstein will be joining Baker Tilly, an advisory, tax, and assurance firm, serving in the company’s higher education advisory practice, starting on November 1st.
