Along with the vehicle accident on Old Route 119, first responders were called out for several different calls yesterday.
The first call was for a transformer fire on Morrow Road in South Mahoning Township at 8:32 AM. Plumville firefighters were called out at the time. Commodore firefighters were dispatched for a gas leak at 1:58 PM on Pioneer Lake Road in Green Township. At 4:51 PM utility lines were reported down on Wright Road in Canoe Township. Rossiter fire department was initially dispatched, followed by Marion Center firefighters.
Indiana firefighters were called out to provide traffic control on Philadelphia Street in White Township at 4:58 PM.
Homer City firefighters were summoned to Old Route 119 South in Center Township at 5:06 PM for a vehicle accident.
And an automatic fire alarm was activated at 4:24 this morning on Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough. Indiana Fire and Police Departments were dispatched.
