First Commonwealth Bank has announced plans to open its new Downtown Indiana branch.
The new location in the front of their existing office space at 654 Philadelphia Street will take over operations for the location currently at the corner of Sixth and Philadelphia Streets, which was donated by the Bank to Indiana County to be used as a Welcome Center for the county. The former bank will house the offices of Downtown Indiana, the Indiana County Tourist Bureau and the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce.
The new branch location will continue to offer counter service along with ATM access and night depository.
While the bank branch will open for business on September 30th, the official ribbon cutting will be Thursday, October 10th at 5:00 PM followed by an Indiana County Chamber Business After Hours until 7 PM. First Commonwealth has also set up a program to donate $25 to ICCAP for every person that stops in to visit the new Downtown Indiana branch during the first week of operation.
