Indiana shut out Armstrong, 2-0. Mae Turner scored both of the goals, and Emily Betsinger and Maggie Cunningham had assists.
GIRLS GOLF
River Valley’s girls golfers dropped a close match with Hollidaysburg, 132-137, yesterday. The Tigers’ Crosby Denis was medalist with a 39. Maren Dunlap led the way for River Valley, shooting a 44. Ashley Pynos and Alessia Lamantia both shot 48 and Madigan Dunlap and Sara Bollinger each shot 51. The girls finish their season 13-2, heading into District 6 match play October 3rd at Windber Country Club.
