As the Trump rally draws closer, some nearby hotels are seeing an uptick in service.
Hilton Garden Inn is reportedly full for the weekend with not just convention-goers, but with people attending a volleyball tournament at the KCAC. The nearby Ramada by Wyndham has also seen an uptick in activity, according to Jill Bence, front desk agent.
Bence did say that they still had some rooms available for rally-goers. With people staying in town over the weekend, many area businesses are also expected to see increases in activity, including restaurants and stores.
