It is a rivalry game today as the Pitt Panthers take on the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Backyard Brawl.
The Panthers are coming off a 28-27 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday, while the Mountaineers beat Albany last week 49-14. Pitt leads the all-time series with West Virginia 62-41-3, but the latest victory in the rivalry belongs to WVU as they beat Pitt 17-6 last year.
