The Steelers added another name to the injury report yesterday. Inside linebacker Patrick Queen did not take the field due to a groin injury. Queen was one of the players who spoke to the media before the practice and did not mention any problems. Guard Isaac Seumalo remained out as well. Quarterback Russell Wilson and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi were limited, while tackle Dan Moore Jr. returned and was a full participant, as was rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson.
With Russell Wilson likely out for Sunday’s game at Denver, Justin Fields is in line to start at quarterback. He says he hopes to target wide receiver George Pickens more, even if he is double-teamed, like he was last week.
Defensive lineman Cam Heyward says the Steelers’ defense needs to limit its time on the field, especially in Denver’s thin air.
Sunday’s game is on WDAD, with the pregame beginning at 2:30.
