Paige Fisanich had 12 kills and Hannah Cowburn had 24 assists as Indiana swept West Mifflin, 3-0. The scores were 25-7, 25-14, and 25-11. Stella Stossel had 8 kills, Addie Stossel had 6 digs and Rebecca Roccetti had 5 digs. Indiana is 4-1, 4-0 in section play. Indiana also won the JV match, 2-1.
GIRLS GOLF
The Indiana girls ended up with a 211-211 tie against Plum yesterday at Three Lakes Golf Course. It was Indiana’s low score of the season. With the course packed, there were no open holes for a playoff. Match medalist was Indiana’s Bella Donatelli, who finished with a 50. Izabella Slagle shot a 53, and Laken Kugler and Liliana Manzi both shot 54.
SOCCER
Conemaugh Township topped United, 7-2. Both of United’s goals were scored by Gideon Bracken, with Carter Payne picking up one assist.
JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL
Indiana lost to Southmoreland, 21-8. Indiana fell behind 14-0 in the first half but Jace Brocious hit Anakan Powell with a 29-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion by Charles Spells before the Scotties put up the final touchdown. Indiana fell to 1-1.
