The Steelers yesterday filled half of the sixteen spots on the practice squad, bringing back eight players who were with them in training camp. Cornerbacks Thomas Graham Jr., Anthony Averett, and Zyon Gilbert, defensive lineman Jacob Slade, linebacker Marcus Haynes, fullback Jack Colleto, running back Jonathan Ward, and tight end Rodney Williams are all back with the team.
Eight practice squad spots remain open.
NFL Insider Aaron Wilson wrote yesterday that the Steelers worked out some possible practice squad additions: Offensive lineman Nouredin Nouili, defensive ends Kenneth Odumegwu and Adetokunbo Ogundeji, and safety Ayo Oyelola.
