The heat was on for the IUP football team yesterday at Miller Stadium, and a bit of nostalgia for old-timers at the end of the session.
Jack Benedict was there.
Among the Denver Broncos cuts yesterday was former IUP star Dondrea Tillman, who will reportedly be signed to Denver’s practice squad. The 6-3, 270-pounder impressed the Broncos with his athleticism, despite his tremendous size for an edge rusher. Former IUP standout Irv Charles will again be a member of the New York Jets’ wide receiver corps.
