A close win for Indiana over Section foe Norwin yesterday at the Youghiogheny Country Club. Indiana wins by eight strokes, 195-203. Chace Force fired a 38 and tied Norwin’s Dom Cerilli for medalist honors. Drew Brocious, Caden Force, and Austin Schawl were just a stroke back, at 39, and Ryan Bell shot a 40. Indiana is 6-2 overall, 4-1 in Section.
Homer-Center shot its best combined score of the season, but powerful West Shamokin still won by 15 strokes at Chestnut Ridge yesterday, 209-224. There was a three-way tie for medalist, with the Wildcats’ Brayden Rado and Marcus Coy and the Wolves’ Alex Talmadge all shot 2-over 38. It was the best round of the season for Rado and Coy, and for Homer-Center’s Angelo Alexander, who shot a 47, and Noah Turk also broke 50. He shot a 49
