The Altoona Curve did not let a quality start from Dominic Perachi go to waste as they beat Richmond 6-1 last night.
He threw three perfect innings before allowing the only run and four hits in the fourth. He went six innings and struck out four. Drake Fellows picked up the save. Sammy Siani had a two-run RBI in top of the first. That was followed in the 5th with a Kervin Pichardo solo shot, his 11th homer of the season. Nick Cimillo scored on a throwing error with the bases loaded in the 6th, and Jackson Glenn had a two-RBI single.
The two teams play again tonight with Po-Yu Chen starting for the Curve and Nick Sinacola throwing for Richmond.
