An Indiana man faces burglary charges for an incident Thursday at a Downtown Indiana resale store.
Indiana Borough Police were dispatched at 11:05 PM to Piraino-Mohney’s Used Sales and Game On store at 639 Philadelphia Street for a reported burglary in progress. A witness saw the suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Sonny Valentin of Indiana, breaking the front glass door and taking an item from inside the shop before going back for more. Police caught him in the store and he was taken into custody.
Valentin was arraigned in front of district judge Susanne Steffee and he was sent to Indiana County Jail as he was unable to post $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 27th at 9:15 AM.
