2024 campaign chair Clinton Smith announced that the fundraising goal for this year is $888,888. He added that if this total was reached, it would be the most in history for the United Way of Indiana County in one year. That record is currently held by Paula Hensel.
The kickoff to the 2024 campaign took on a carnival feel with games for kids and adults, performers from Iron City Circus doing stilt walking and fire turning, and music from both Wave Rider DJ Service and the band McFly and the Time Machine.
The next major fundraising event for the United Way will be the Golf Outing September 9th at the Indiana Country Club. To watch video from the kickoff event, click on the player below.
