One person suffered minor injuries in a crash last Friday in Rayne Township.
State police were called to a crash involving one vehicle along Route 110 around 5:36 p.m. They say the driver, 52-year-old Angela Hammer of Ernest, suffered a medical emergency while driving and crossed into a bank along the northbound lane before crashing into a tree.
Hammer suffered a suspected minor injury but was not taken to a medical facility for treatment. Citizens’ Ambulance personnel assisted state police on-scene.
State police are investigating an incident from August 1st. Troopers say they received a request to investigate a Megan’s Law violation, and they found that the suspect, who was not named in reports, failed to show up for their annual update. That person was contacted and brought into compliance. An investigation is on-going.
