Northern Cambria claimed a home match against Homer-Center, clipping the Wildcats 231-245. Zach Cavallo earned medalist honors after leading all golfers with a three-over 39. Marcus Coy led Homer-Center with a 42, while Brayden Rado added a 45. Jordy Arone, Nathan Birchall and Reece Coy all shot season-lows during the match.
Homer-Center hosts Portage at Chestnut Ridge tomorrow afternoon.
West Shamokin nipped Conemaugh Township, 201-209, at White Oak. Alex Talmadge medaled with a 34 while Parker Geist added a 39.
River Valley moved to 4-0 with a 207-220 win over Bishop Guilfoyle yesterday. Jake Pynos led the way with a round of 36. Jeremy Reed followed with a 37.
GIRLS
River Valley won its second straight match after downing Kiski Area 207-249. Maren Dunlap medaled with a 46. Ashley Pynos followed with a 52 while Madigan Dunlap added a 53 and Alessia LaMantia a 56. The Panthers meet with Northern Cambria today at Chestnut Ridge.
