Some roads in White Township will be closed or restricted today and tomorrow due to some projects.
Township officials say that today, McHenry Road off Old Route 119 north of Indiana; Stonebreaker, Abby and Helman Roads of Route 286; and Ferrier Run Road off Mertz road will undergo seal coating by a contractor late this afternoon and on Thursday. Minor delays are expected and brief closures are possible, with the work to be completed within a few hours. The times and sequence of the roads won’t be decided until the contractor is on site.
Also, Plum Street near Brookwood Estates will be closed at Wayne Avenue from 8 AM to 3 PM Thursday for a drain pipe replacement project near the intersection. The area will still have access from Ben Avon Street.
