Indiana Regional Medical Center welcomed its third class of resident doctors at ceremonies at the hospital on Wednesday.

Not only does this mark the third year of the program, the residents that joined the first class of the program will graduate this spring. Program Director Dr. Amanda Vaglia said that it was impressive to see how the residents have grown over the years.
Jason Chang from Murrysville said that IRMC had a good reputation, and they made him feel welcome.
Greg Doke from Fairfax, Virginia, said that he wanted the opportunity to take care of people and learn from the specialists.
Tina Thomas of Charleston, South Carolina said that she was looking for programs all over the country but IRMC’s open houses impressed her.
Salwa Sadiq-Ali of Fairfax, Virgina said she chose IRMC as she felt that she would be able to grow in the program.
Austin Yocum from Lebanon said that he wanted to remain in a small-town program for his residency.
While Kayla Bryant is from Chicago, she got a sample of rural health programs when she was in college.
Amanda Kostryk from Marion Center said she wanted a program close to home.
Also part of the program is Cayla Lyle, who was not present for yesterday’s presentation.
