Indiana County’s Commissioners honored the Indiana 14U Junior All-Stars with a proclamation during Wednesday’s meeting.
The team was honored for their historic run in the Junior League World Series in Kirkland, Washington, last month, which saw the team reach the semifinals. They team went 5-2 in the national tournament, picking up wins over Texas, Arizona, Canada, Phillippines, and the host team from Kirkland before falling to Texas in the semifinals.
Chairman Mike Keith addressed the team, saying they brought great pride to Indiana County.
