Bubba Chandler was promoted from Altoona to Indianapolis yesterday and was replaced in the Curve rotation by Anthony Solometo, who returned from Florida after spending the last month in the development program and making one start for Low-A Bradenton.
Solometo started yesterday against Portland and gave up two runs in one-and-two-thirds innings of a 4-2 Curve loss. Right-hander JC Flowers relieved Solometo and set down all ten batters he faced. Yoyner Fajardo, Nick Cimillo, and Sammy Siani all had two hits for the Curve.
Right-hander Nick Dombkowski starts for the Curve tonight in the series’ fourth game.
