Coach Mike Tomlin says it’s a key time for players to stake their claim to a roster spot.
Rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson was walking without his boot cast yesterday. The third- round draft pick injured his ankle last week. Linebacker Patrick Queen missed his second straight practice but no reason was given and Tomlin did not name him or any other players on his injury report, saying all of the injured Steelers are “status quo.”
