Altoona hitters cranked out 16 hits but the Curve still lost, 9-7 to Richmond. Abrahan Guttierez and Jase Bowen had three hits and Nick Cimillo, Sammy Siani, Yoyner Fajardo, and Kervin Pichardo all had two. Cimillo and Jackson Glenn hit home runs.
The Curve will be off today and travel to Portland, Maine, to start a six-game series tomorrow.
Former Curve pitcher Thomas Harrington gave up five runs on six hits in five-and-two-thirds innings yesterday for Indianapolis in his AAA debut. Indy lost to Toledo, 10-8.
