Tomorrow, motorcycles and other street-legal vehicles will roll out to benefit the Teddy Bear Fund Drive.
This year marks the 12th year for the Red Knights annual Teddy Bear Fun Ride, which will start once again at the Aultman fire department and run for about 80 miles. This year, the ride will be put out on the Rever app, but the exact route will not be unveiled until the day of the ride, according to Slim Schultz with the Red Knights.
Admission is a $20 donation for drivers and $10 for passengers. Registration is 10 AM and kickstands go up at noon. After the ride, there will be a 50/50, strip tickets and a Chinese auction, and the first 175 participants will receive a commemorative pin. The event benefits the Teddy Bear Fund Drive, which supports child health care at IRMC and the free care fund of Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
