At the Little League Junior World Series, Indiana’s 14U softball team had another outstanding performance against Repentigny, Quebec, Canada. Indiana won, 9-2 after scoring five runs in the first inning on two walks and a hit batter, all with the bases loaded, and a groundout by Tenley Anderson on which two runners scored.
Indiana had an 11-hit attack, led by three hits by Kaylee Cass and two each by Rachel Livermore and Rylee Mahaffey.
Claire Brewer and Samantha Martin did the job in the circle.
Indiana plays Asia Pacific today.
