Two key members of the Penguins’ staff have left the organization and both have joined the Colorado Avalanche.
Director of amateur scouting Nick Pryor and strength and conditioning coach Alexi Pianosi will have the same job titles for the Avs. Pryor had run the Penguins’ last three drafts, including the one just concluded last month. He’d been with the Pens since 2021. Pianosi was hired by former general manager Jim Rutherford in 2018.
