Penguins insider Josh Yohe reports that Director of Amateur Scouting Nick Pryor is leaving the organization to join the Colorado Avalanche as a member of their amateur scouting department.
Pryor was hired in 2021 to oversee the Penguins’ amateur scouting in North America and Europe. He helped Pittsburgh in drafting first round picks Owen Pickering and Brayden Yager in the 2022 and 2023 NHL drafts.
