UPDATE: Due to continued investigation and further canvassing of the area, troopers have declared that the case is “unfounded and closed”.
State police have reported an attempted kidnapping in White Township.
Troopers say they were dispatched at 7:30 PM on Friday to a home on Ryan Road for the reported attempt. A juvenile female, whose identity was not released, said that she was grabbed by an unknown man on foot while she was near her home. Troopers canvassed the area for three hours but were not able to turn up the suspect.
The investigation is continuing.
