One of the founders of a long-standing fuel sales business has passed away.
Jane Coleman of Brush Valley founded Accent Fuels with her husband in 1964. She worked there for almost 50 years before Accent’s warehouse was destroyed by a fire in 2013. The business had been sold to their sons prior to the fire on West Indiana Street. The business is still in operation today.
She was also a great supporter of Renda Media’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive, including knitting a quilt that was sold as a fundraiser in 2008.
Coleman passed away at the age of 86.
