First responders were busy yesterday with multiple calls related to utility lines coming down.
The first such call was at 2:40 PM yesterday as a line went down along Two Lick Drive in White Township. Four other calls were reported by Indiana County 911 between 4:58 PM and 7:26 PM in locations in Rayne, Canoe, Green and Banks Townships.
This was part of a busy day for first responders that included a mulch fire that was reported at 3:50 PM along Route 22 West in Burrell Township that brought out the Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments. Clyde fire department was called out at 8:52 PM to set up a landing zone along Crawford Road for a medical helicopter.
Indiana Fire Association members were dispatched at 9:00 PM for an automatic fire alarm activation along Route 156 in Bend Township, Armstrong County. And at 10:05, Clymer firefighters assisted EMT’s in an incident along Franklin Street in Clymer borough.
