IUP basketball fans will be able to see some of their former favorite players in action one final time this Sunday as they will star in an exhibition game at the Memorial Field House.
Former IUP guard Dante Lombardi will coach against his dad, IUP men’s coach Joe Lombardi, in preparation for this year’s edition of “The Basketball Tournament,” a one-million-dollar nationwide tournament featuring past college and professional stars. Dante’s team will be headlined by Cobo Diaz and Ethan Porterfield, while Joe’s team features Armoni Foster, Chucky Humphries, Malik Miller, Shawndale Jones, and others.
Dante said on Indiana in the Morning this week that the TBT committee wanted IUP in this year’s tournament.
Lombardi also detailed some interesting facts about scoring.
The game is at 6 o’clock and tickets are ten dollars. Fans will also have the chance to meet players and take part in autograph sessions and other interactive events.
