The ICM 12U all-star team advanced to Friday’s quarterfinal round of the state little league tournament with a 1-0 win over Titusville yesterday. Ella Worthington and Reese Mahaffey threw a combined no-hitter with 16 total strikeouts. Paisley Wolff scored the lone run of the game after scoring on a sac fly by Aunika Brooks.
ICM now plays Caln Township from Philadelphia this afternoon at 2.

Indiana’s 14U all-star team needed two wins yesterday to advance to the state championship game and they got them, shutting out Springfield, 15-0, in the first game, and clipping Corry, 8-1, in the nightcap.
Sophia Boyer drove in four runs for Indiana against Springfield, two of them coming off an opposite-field home run in the fourth. Claire Brewer and Samantha Martin combined for nine strikeouts in four innings.
Rylee Mahaffey shined in the circle in game two, limiting Corry to three hits and one unearned run in a complete game effort. She also piled up seven strikeouts. Eight hitters had a hit. Gracie Reed, Rachel Livermore, and Martin all had a double.
Indiana will face Cochranton/Mid-East/Titusville for the championship at 5. Both teams faced off in Tuesday’s quarterfinal round, with the tri-area team winning 8-6 in extra innings.
If Indiana wins, they will play again at 7.
