From IRMC
Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) has been committed to meeting the needs of patients and employees in Indiana County and surrounding communities for 110 years. On June 1, 2024, Beacon Ridge became part of the IRMC healthcare system. Both non-profit organizations have strong roots in the Indiana community with a rich history of providing high quality patient care and services and an employer of choice.
“This opportunity expands the repertoire of services that will be provided through our community healthcare system. We believe that integrating senior care into our existing health system will improve the quality, coordination and efficiency of care provided to seniors living in our region. This strategy makes sense for our community and positions us to care for the growing senior population within our community,” notes Steve Wolfe, IRMC President & CEO.
At Beacon Ridge, there are no major changes anticipated in the day-to-day operations. The seniors who live there will continue to be cared for by the same management team and direct care staff, with which they are familiar. The staff will continue to enjoy the same level of compensation and benefits with which they are accustomed.
Leah McAndrews, Nursing Home Administrator at Beacon Ridge provides, “We are excited to join an organization that has been rooted in our Indiana community for 110 years and demonstrates the same commitment to providing high-quality patient care and services to our community. Collaborating with IRMC provides a successful path forward, positioning us for future success consistent with our past 30 years.”
