What a turnaround for the Altoona Curve. After losing seven out of eight to start the second half of the season, they got their second straight shutout over Harrisburg last night. Thomas Harringon threw seven innings and gave up three hits and two walks in a 1-0 pitchers duel with the Senators’ Andry Lara.
Sammy Siani drove in the game’s only run with an infield single that scored Joe Perez, who had doubled and advanced to third on a groundout.
Tsung-Che Cheng had two doubles for the Curve, who will send Po Yu Chen to the mound tonight for the fourth game of the series.
