Drake Fellows was a tough-luck loser yesterday as Altoona dropped their series opener at Harrisburg, 2-1. Fellows gave up two runs on three hits and struck out nine in seven innings, at one point retiring fourteen straight batters. Tsung-Che Cheng did what he could for the Curve, stacking up three hits and accounting for their lone run with his eighth home run of the season. Sammy Siani had two hits.
Emmanuel Chapman starts for the Curve tonight in the second game of the six-game split series. They’ll play tonight and tomorrow in Harrisburg and the final three games Thursday through Saturday in Altoona.
