A planned project for an area bridge has been postponed by PennDOT.
The Army Specialist Christine Mays Bridge resurfacing project was originally scheduled to be held over this weekend into July 1st, but because of some rainy weather expected to come through the area this weekend, PennDOT made the decision to put it on hold. Paving is slated to begin now sometime in mid to late July. As soon as a date is finalized with contractors, updated dates will be released.
The project will be completed by RAM Construction Services of Michigan and is scheduled to be completed in September of this year.
