It was a good night for Altoona’s Bubba Chandler and the Altoona Curve as they beat the Bowie Baysox 5-0 last night.
Chandler struck out 10 in seven scoreless innings including seven consecutive strikeouts. Altoona put up five runs over the first three innings using bases-loaded walks, wild pitches, sac bunts and three hits. The Curve continue their six-game series with the Bowie Baysox tonight. Altoona will send Thomas Harrington, with Alex Pham on the mound for Bowie.
