Just a day after being released by the Steelers, wide receiver Denzel Mims has a new NFL team. He signed with Jacksonville yesterday.
The Steelers were widely praised for taking West Virginia center Zach Frazier with their second round draft choice, but Pro Football Focus isn’t impressed. The website ranks Frazier as the 29th best center in the NFL, despite analyst Thomas Valentine calling him “one of the most productive centers in the country” last year. Frazier will battle veteran Nate Herbig for the starting center job, replacing Mason Cole, who was released after last season.
