At a news conference at the Philly Street Candle Bar, Secretary Rick Siger discussed the governor’s “Main Street Matters” program, which is part of the Governor’s budget proposal. The program calls for $25 million to support downtowns, small towns, small businesses and main streets throughout the commonwealth. Siger said the money could be used for many different purposes.
As part of his visit, Siger visited several downtown businesses, and he talked about what he was looking forward to on the tour.
