Thomas F. Boske, 88, of Homer City, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024 peacefully at Beacon Ridge. He was born on August 21, 1935 to Ivan and Elizabeth (Lipnic) Boske in Bolivar, Pennsylvania. Thomas was a graduate of Laurel Valley High School and served in the Marine Corps for eight years. He worked as the plant manager for Allegheny Foundry for fifty years. Thomas was a charter member of the Red Barn Sportsman’s Club and a patron member of the NRA. He was a Steeler Season Ticket holder since 1980 and enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing various sports, but his passion was to be a good husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Thomas was a member of the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines, and participated in the Knights of Columbus. He was an active member of Meals on Wheels and AARP.
On June 1, 1957, Thomas married his wife, Joan, and they spent 63 years together and raised two children.
Surviving are his son, Thomas (Victoria) of Indiana, daughter, Joan (Thomas) Wilden, of Homer City; grandchildren, Leah (David Buchner), Jason, Justin (Catherine), Matthew (Monica) Wilden, Nathan Wilden; great-grandson, Easton Wilden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and the following siblings, John, Elizabeth, George, Mary, Katherine, Joseph, Stephen, and William.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday June 22 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site. A private Interment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
