The Steelers yesterday released veteran wide receiver Denzel Mims, who had been with them since October of last year but never got off the practice squad.
Mims was a former second round draft pick of the Jets who last got into an NFL game in 2022.
The move opens up a spot on the 90-man roster for the Steelers, fueling speculation that they could trade for another starter-caliber wide receiver soon.
