Take it for what you will, but CBS Sports analyst Josh Edwards ranks the Steelers as having had the third best offseason of all the teams in the NFL. The Bears are ranked first and the Cardinals second.
The primary reasons for the high ranking, according to Edwards, are the hiring of Arthur Smith as offensive coordinator, the acquisitions of quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, and the drafting of offensive linemen Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier.
The Texans and Eagles round out the top five in the rankings. Edwards ranks only his top ten and no other AFC North teams are in it, but he does say that the Browns and Bengals were under consideration.
