A project that will result in some detours is the small slide repairs along Park Drive in Young Township.
Park Drive between Route 286 and Blacklegs Road will be closed starting today to fix four small slides, including excavation, installation of a rock embankment, repaving the road and installing a new guiderail. For detours, motorists will travel Route 286 towards Indiana, turn left onto McIntyre Road and turn left on Park Drive. Traffic from the north side of the closure will follow Park Drive north, turn right onto McIntyre Road then turn right onto Route 286.
This project will cost $1.65 million and will run through the end of September.
