Two more area school boards are scheduled to consider their budgets tomorrow. The Marion Center School Board will hold a work session and discuss a budget of over $29 million, which includes a 5.14 percent increase in real estate taxes.
Also on the board agenda is the resignation of Pam Anderson as the Marion Center athletic director.
Purchase Line’s school board will vote on a final budget showing expenditures exceeding $22 million and revenues about a million dollars less. The $959,846 deficit would be made up for with the use of a fund balance. Under the plan, real estate taxes for both the Indiana County and Clearfield County portions of the district will rise 7.8 percent.
The board will also tackle a lengthy list of district policies up for approval, and will hire an athletic director and several coaches. Other items before the board at the voting meeting include a final budget
