One of the suspects involved in a deadly shooting at the Carriage House Apartments in 2020 had their motions hearing rescheduled to later this month.
After the first two attempts for motions hearing were continued in April and May, 25-year-old Delmar Chatman, originally from Johnstown, is set to appear before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco on Monday, June 29th for a third attempt. Chatman faces charges of criminal homicide, conspiracy to that crime and robbery to inflict serious bodily injury, and conspiracy to theft by unlawful taking in connection with the death of Jadeyn Wright on October 17, 2020. A felony charge of robbery to inflict serious bodily injury was previously dismissed.
Chatman was one of four people who went to the apartment complex to buy marijuana off Wright but the incident turned violent and Wright was fatally shot. He, Terrion Gates of Johnstown, Isabella Edmonds of Indiana, and Isaiah Moore of Indiana all fled the scene soon after.
Gates is set to go for jury selection September 23, while Moore will have his jury selection October 21. Edmonds posted $50,000 bail on January 3.
