Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. has released the identity of the victim involved in a fatal crash yesterday in Armstrong Township.
Overman said 80-year-old Erma Karen Devivo of Shelocta died due to blunt force trauma suffered in the crash. She attempted to pull out of her driveway onto Route 422 around 10:57 a.m. when she was hit by a Honda Civic that was in the eastbound lane. Devivo was wearing a seatbelt at the time and her death was ruled accidental.
State police have not released a crash report yet nor has the identity of the other driver involved been released.
