First Commonwealth Bank has named its new Community Engagement Manager.
Megan Detwiler, a native of Altoona in Blair County, will help lead community giving through donations and sponsorships, as well as support local teams in representing the bank at events and volunteer opportunities. Detwiler’s started with First Commonwealth in March 2015, with roles in retail banking and product management, most recently serving as a Senior Analyst and Project Manager for the retail team.
Kris Levan, Senior Vice President and Marketing and Communications Manager, expressed excitement about Detwiler’s new position, saying quote, ““Through her personal and professional experiences, Megan has developed a passionate community spirit and a business development appreciation for how strong community partnerships make for strong business relationships.”
Beyond her professional achievements, Detwiler spent time on the board of the Rotary Club of Hollidaysburg and the Blair County Community Action Program. She co-hosts the Space Employee Resource Group and founded a scholarship in memory of her late father for Hollidaysburg high school students.
