KELLER STAYS HOT AS BUCS BLANK TWINS

Mitch Keller had another dominant outing as he and the Bucs’ bullpen shutout the Twins, 3-0.

Game two of the series is this afternoon at PNC Park. Carmen Mlodzinski (0-2, 6.75 ERA) will start for the Pirates in a bullpen game. Simeon Woods-Richardson (2-0, 3.05 ERA) goes for Minnesota. It’s a 3:40 airtime, 4:05 first pitch on WCCS.

Prior to yesterday’s game, the Pirates reinstated outfielder Michael A. Taylor from the paternity list and optioned Liover Peguero to Triple-A Indianapolis. Peguero did not play while with the Pirates.
